Invest In Your Marriage

Built to last

Built to Last is a marriage life group led by other married couples designed to help couples develop and grow in their marriage relationships.

Before you say I do

B4 U say ‘I do’ is an evening designed to look into issues pertinent to singlehood. During the course of the meeting we explore God’s plan for life and discuss how to enjoy this unique season.

2 Become 1

‘2 become 1’, the premarital classes at Jesus House, equip couples with Godly principles and time-tested tools that will enable them to enjoy a lifelong union in partnership with God.

Date Nights

Every so often members of the TightKnots team and DBS checked volunteers offer a baby sitting/child minding service for a couple of hours in the evening.

Marriage Revolution

We hold marriage events throughout the year. These events take different forms and go under the name of ‘Marriage Revolution’.

Happily Ever After

‘Happily ever after’ is a reunion of sorts that takes place twice a year. It is an informal reception that reunites the participants of ‘2 become 1’, premarital classes as well as couples who have been married for up to three years and provides an opportunity to just to hang out, relax and enjoy each other’s company.

3-Fold Cord

Marriages are the core of family and families are the core of society. If our marriages are weak, our society is weak. 3Fold Cord is our quarterly prayer meeting for marriages.

Couples' Weekend Away

Every year over the Bank Holiday weekend we organise a weekend away for married couples which is a perfect break from the humdrum of daily life.

What others have said

We have been privileged to attend the Couple’s Weekend Away a few times, and on every occasion it has been a time of hope and encouragement. The event is one that clearly defines God’s plan for marriages and family, and we’ve always found the experience/environment fun, non-threatening, hilarious, and a wonderful time to refresh our marriage.

Many thanks for your spiritual nourishment and for remembering us by sending us Seeds of Love. We pray that the Lord will always remember you, and as you have consistently watered our lives with God's love, may you be watered too. Thanks for being faithful to the core. We pray that you will always experience God's faithfulness in your marriage.

I thought that I should let you know that you are doing a FANTASTIC job on the Seeds of Love newsletter. It is beautifully written and a blessing. I pray that the Lord will continue to bless and crown your efforts. Amen.

Thank you so much for the words in the Seeds of Love enewsletter. This was the first e-mail I opened when I came to the office this morning. It's really nice. May the Lord be with you and your entire family (Amen).

Thank you so much for the Seeds of Love enewsletter. It was very on point and came at the right time for us. May God give us the grace to obey Him at all times. Amen!
